What you describe there, could be indeed the worst case scenario, but fact is that the X6 and the 5GT, especially the X6 do sell very well
The X6 was supposed to sell 30.000 per year before the crisis, but in its first full year of sales during the recession it sold 45.000 if I am not mistaken.
Just because some models don't look like they sell good in the US, it doesn't mean that they don't sell at all in the rest of the world.

AND that goes in truth to all makes/brands across the globe. That is also why many american cars and trucks sold in the US are not sold in the EU and other countries, shame actually....I would not mind having a Camaro or Mustang in my garage or even the new Dodge Durango for that matter
Just can't buy one of the above mentioned in the RSA.
