X5 SCOOP: interior pic of yet unidentified BMW vehicle (X5?, RFK?)

Siemens VDO has introduced new LIDAR adaptive cruise control.

The interior in the LIDAR demo pic definitely shows a BMW vehicle (steering wheel, ignition key, layout & design of the dash, HUD, "clown nose" on the rear mirror, iDrive screen).
Since it's an unidentified interior I guess it belongs to an upcoming BMW vehicle.

But which one? X5? V5 RFK?

Just insert BMW badge, imagine more BMW-ish dials, different central console (with CD & DVD slots etc), wood trim - voila!

But this is it - the design is here before our eyes!

its hrad to say from this photo but i recognize the 'clown nose' in the rear mirror, is the same as in the X5

From what I can see it's definitely rather good looking. Apart from huge space inbetween the speedometer and tachometer I think I will like it.

I wouldn't put too much stock in this photo, many supplier companies use mock ups of cars exteriors, and or interiors to display new technology, etc. The placement of what looks to be climate control buttons are very much out of place for that to be an actual BMW interior.

Corrrect. This is X5 interior.
I have the original pics. Courtesy of Peter / Rockapix.
But I did not post them since he sold them to the mag - which wanted exclusivity.

There are some additional pics - showing front & rear interior door panels.

But nothing very revealing.
