Vs Scans Request: Automobile December 2012 M3 vs RS5 vs C63 vs Cayman S

Vehicle comparisons, matchups, debates, performance battles, and head-to-head discussions.
Most RS5 has been supplied to the press with dynamic steering, in my opinion it's not as good as the stock system but the difference isn't huge.

Look at this, the RS5 weight is lower, but still better handling an steering.

Point is, what happend, if the RS5 get lower weight.

The problem isn't AWD because quattro on MLB platforms is much better than electric AWD BMW system but the problem is power steering. Audi use less accurate the more highway mode with their electric power steering. In M3 is simply hydraulic power steering. I think new M3 is going to get electric ps as the new M5.

The switch to electric assistant is a foregone conclusion for the same reasons that FI has..........economy/emissions. The question is whether BMW will get it to work as well as Porsche clearly have.

Even the Porsche one is not that good, said Harris. Benchmark of EPS are the Japanese: Honda S2000, Mazda RX-8, Toyota GT86, Lexus LFA,...

See about this, if we talking about economy/emissions-cars.

And we see in future technic(electric-turbo) by Audi, in many models. How it works about economy and emissions state.

Audi A6 review

A lot of reviews.
In this case a power of suggestion affects also on BMW, not only the Audi, because in many tests reviewers spoke negatively about the M5 steering "because electric power". The Power of suggestion

Chris Harris is but one voice, many others have praised it, any negative remarks generally refer to comparisons with their old hydraulic system which was in another league to everything else.

I have no idea wtf you are rambling. M5 doesn't have electric steering, it uses hydraulic steering. Period. If any reviews says otherwise, it is wrong.

Some sources say electric.

You can always start by reading the pressrelease from BMW:

The hydraulic rack-and-pinion steering with variable ratio is another M-specific feature, combining precise directional stability with a need for less steering effort when manoeuvring. The M Servotronic system has also been specially configured and allows the driver to adapt the characteristics of the speed-sensitive power assistance to individual tastes and requirements via
three settings.

That's why I'm talking about "power od suggestion"...
Reviewers have incorrect information, and already this fact is enough to negatively assess (incorrectly) M5 steering.

but in many cases m3 is more faster than rs5, check more tests

Last time I checked this out I was surprised to find it was the RS5 posting more of the quickest laps that both had posted times on, this might now have changed but the point is these two cars are very evenly matched on the track for it to be decided by driver talent.
