Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

Damn i want one but ive been on the iphone since day 1.
I wonder how complex it will be to shift everything to android?
Then again i don't want to be sorry when the iphone 8 is out, but looking at the latest iphones they will probably disappoint.
ahh 1st world problems!

Very easy to transfer from I phone to Samsung it wont even take you half and hour and everything is their accept your apps ..

It's dead easy to migrate from Apple to Samsung. The official app for it moved over everything from contacts and photos to call logs and notes. IMO most of the apps were identical on Android, if not slightly better due to added functionality.

I'm not looking back.

What's the name of that app Hassan?

Gorgeous hardware but as with every Android phone maker, bloatware is a deal breaker for me.

Some advise guys and Sunny as you seen them and played with them..

I currently have a s7edge and I phone 7 I prefer the Samsung for almost everything except I find emails in Samsung much slower to download.

I am busy doing my order but am confused do a go for a bigger s8+ or normal s8 as the normal s8 has a bigger screen then s7edge...I carry two phones with me one is my SA number and one my UK number so should I go for s8 or the s8+ I don't need a bigger screen then the s7edge but I need a battery I am a battery killer lol.

I don't like huge phones either, and exactly why I got an iphone 7 instead 7+ because of the size. The S8+, on the other hand, is pretty narrow so it's as comfortable to hold as the S8.

Got my S8 today in Orchid Grey, here it is next to my old S2. I will take a photo with my HTC one later. The overall design, quality and execution is extremely impressive.

What a phone, what a phone... In every way!

This will definitely be replacement for my Note4 which works perfectly for 2 years already and this one is definitely worthy replacement! Kudos to Samsung! Can't wait to get my hands on S8+...(y)

Don't jump to the S8 just yet, the Note 8 will be rising from the smoldering battery vapors of the Note 7 later this year. I imagine it will be at least as good as the S8, but I have a feeling Samsung have saved a couple of nifty things for the new Note to help that phone's image/reputation.

A friend of mine has bought the S8 and it's the first time I have been tempted to upgrade from my Gold S6 Edge+.

The design is a game changer and once you have held the S8 your phone with top and bottom bezel instantly looks old. Best of all, the screen is big without the bulk and clumsiness of the iPhone.

Got my personal S8 (had a demo S8+ for sometime now). Love the hardware and design. The screen is phenomenal. On the downside, easy to break it, friend already cracked his S8+ screen. Android usability still makes me go WTF sometimes.

Will put get a case for yours to protect the screen from shattering in case of a bad fall?

^I like to live dangerously when it comes to phone screens :). Already cost me $200 with my iphone 7. But yes, if you have slippery hands, definitely should get some protection.

I've received my S8 last week. Very well refined device. Impressive camera & display. The only thing I'm not comfortable with is the new charging port. Accessories are uncommon for new plug!

Finally getting the phone setup to the way I wanted it. First thing, the whole display is stunning, or "unreal" as most people have commented. The sharpness, the color production, and the curved edges have really elevated this phone above everything else on the market.

As for the software experience, the stock launcher or "Samsung Experience" is still not as user friendly as HTC "Sense" but the layout. menus and graphics are significantly improved over Touchwiz. Everything is butter smooth 99% of the time, I do notice the occasional slight delay in pulling down the notification bar, or switching pages in the app draw, or rotating the screen. While it is not a deal breaker, it is slightly surprisingly to see, given that the Exynos chip on this phone is the most powerful on the market, and the stock UI is much less cluttered.
