A8/S8 S8 or A8 W12 ?

Luxury against sport

Which one would you take?

exactly the s8 is much sportyer and with the same but better interior if you are the driver. if i was a rear seat pasenger i would choose the w12

A8 w12, It looks alot nicer, the S8 looks really ugly to me and I saw a blue A8 w12 @ the detroit autoshow and i have to say that and the RS4 are the only audis that get my attention... also why buy a sporty car thats as heavy as an oxe in the first place its just unecessary. Its smarter to just opt for an ///M5

well of course if you want the most sporty 4 door car you can buy you would get an m5 or a rs4. also some people want to have a sporty high end luxury car and thats more of my type of car and the looks are more impressive to me.

I'd choose the A8 W12.
Sporty cars could get weary after some time and then you'd appreciate and prefer the comfort, smoothness and silence that you always will have.
Performance and road handling of the S8 is better but the W12 is also a good perfomer.
If you really want something sporty, you'd choose a car from a different segment.

The W12 for me as well. It's a lot more incognito, yet still has the same specs as the S8.

I doubt the two cars are that dramatically different as you guys make it sound, but yes I would take the sportier of the two in the S8 as well as that choice carbon fiber interior. I also like the S8 because it's the shorter wheelbase, and if I'm driving, it won't affect my legroom.

I also doubt that their characters are as much of a dichotomy as it might sound. Against the larger backdrop of the rest of the automotive world, they'd probably be closer than they were apart.

Nevertheless, for this poll, I'd probably take the W12. If I wanted a true sporting car, then I'd get something else, smaller and lighter. I don't need my large luxo sedan to be sporty, I'd want it to do what it was 'meant' to do - carry people in comfort. To that end, though I like the SWB versions' looks better, the LWB is pretty nice (one of the nicer LWB luxury sedan versions, along with the XJ8).

I also like the W12's grille better, and also the exhausts (except that they have the bumper plastic going underneath the exhaust outlets) and the wheels as well.

I voted for the W12. It's just that in some cars, luxury matters more that sport. And it does in A8.
A8 was built to be a luxury sedan and not a fast one. I'm a luxury fun and anytime i take luxury over sport.
Then since both have 450HP it's not difficult since you don't ''lose'' hp so it's up to you top decide.
And yes, the S8 grill is disgusting

IN this case... W12 for me.

Normally I would go for pure sport, but then I tought about it and realised that if I were to purchase an A8, luxury would be a proirity.
