Can you explain to me when pictures are allowed and not allowed in a particular Forum. The S Class forum has threads full of pictures, many posted by the webmaster and others. At what point are pictures not allowed. The S550 is a new model and there is a great deal of interest in what it does and how it looks. The most obvious place to look for information and images on this new MB success story is in the S Class Forum. Just looking for some guidance...

Pics of S-Class are allowed, but creating numerous threads on YOUR PERSONAL car with pics of interior and exterior and so on, belongs in a forum related for the specific use:

Post your car(s) in this section and tell us about it/them."]

A pic here and there is okay in any thread especially S Class, but creating threads about YOUR car belongs in Owners Galleries.

If you really want everyone to see more pics of your car, put the link to your PERSONAL car thread in your SIGNATURE.

This car has grown on me tremendously since it's really started making its presence felt on the streets here in Southern California. Along w/ the E63 I think this will be the car to bring me back into liking MB again. Awesome pics Nevada Jack, thanks for being generous enough to share such HQ pics w/ us.

It's not that I "want more people to see pictures of my car" but that the users of this forum want to see more pictures of the S550 by other users, not magazine shots. I have several web sites in my signature and if they want to see more of "my pictures" they can click on one of those.

I have a simpler solution Alx (for me)...and it will be less of a hassle for me to have to post on several forum...I will just post on the MBWorld forum and put a link in my post on your S W221 forum. Then viewers who want to look at my images of the S550 can go there or to one of the sites in my signature.

Whatever is easier for you. If your having a hard time understanding where to start a thread or post pictures, and keep the forum organized, do what is in your best interest. I dont think i could have explained it any more clearier for you in these past posts. Good Luck!

Jack, what is that little button to the upper left of the Keyless Go button? Does it release the KG button or something?
You need to take pictures with the COMAND screen & the cluster instrument on to make the interior even more welcoming. Do you have that lighting package in the interior? You know, like this one:

It looks much better with a darker interior then a light one.

This shot shows a lighted interior along with the Ambient lighting. My shot is in complete darkness thereby displaying the ambient light more than any of the interior features. In real life I think the lighting looks better with a lighter interior since the lighter leather reflects some of the ambient light, but in a dark interior the effect is not as great due to the light being absorbed by the darker leather. Neither picture gives a true real life effect...
