Post number 199 has been selected as best answered.

The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engine two-seater sports car designed and developed in Germany by Bugatti Engineering GmbH. It was manufactured in Molsheim, France, by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.. The successor to the Bugatti Veyron, the Chiron was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show on 1 March 2016.

Release date for the car or the first teaser you mean?
Yeah, ditto.

release date July 20 😉
Now I'm confused. Bugatti labeled those pictures of the covered up car with "Spring '24", hinting at an official announcement.
You're telling us that whatever is about to happen is coming in July, which obviously isn't a spring month. Does this mean they are gonna tell us the name and possibly show the first proper teasers this Spring with the full unveil following up in July??

Nobody, nowhere, to my knowledge which includes people in the know, have released any dates at all. Let alone a specific one including the month.

If I were Bugatti leaving it that late, and currently as it stands there's zero evidence whatsoever, I'd unviel it at the Quail Meeting which makes far more sense.

Anyway as you've correctly stated July isn't Spring anywhere on the Planet so even that doesn't fit.

Was hoping for something in March, which is usually when most unveilings happen due to GIMS but since motor shows aren’t a big deal anymore who knows.

Quail sounds appropriate but is in August and I would assume the car is still on for Spring, since the teaser with the covered silhouette stated Spring 2024. Also recently Bugatti’s Head of Communications Nicole Auger stated it would be shown sometime in the middle of the year so July might be correct.

Problem is, I've heard Bugatti say one thing and Rimac another. Smh! Anyway it's a big launch and the enthusiasts are impatient, me too some.

As for GIMS I knew last year Pininfarina Automobili weren't going and there's a lot more than them. 2024 is very sparse, I read.

The brand incredibly protects this car from any leaks

It is a completely new car on a new platform

The car has already been seen by VIP customers
Any testing will not begin until after the launch
First orders will not arrive until about 2.5 years later

Yes it will be v16
1800-2000 km
The 500 km barrier will be surpassed
You will have to wait for the rest of the information 😜
Mileage possibly.

Top Speed absolutely not, otherwise the SS project already, to some laughable, i.e. pre production prototype, one way run, limited top speed etc was a complete waste of time.

"We have shown several times that we build the fastest cars in the world," Winkelmann said. "In future we will focus on other areas. ... This was the LAST TIME for us."

Anyway that's all I'm saying.

Interview of 2019
We have 2024
Plus new company authorities 😀

Winkelmann isn't CEO anymore and the company isn't in VW Group hands 100% anymore. Matej's plans might be different. Plans change, and it would be a massive feat to announce the new model with a bang like that. Perfect for marketing and a nab at competition which have promised 300+ mph cars for years now, but never achieved it.

I also have a feeling that a non-restricted, customer Chiron SS 300+ would crack 500 km/h average. (pre-production car had some extra weight and penalties due to test equipment.) It would be interesting to see, but of course it is very dangerous to test.

I know he's not. And non restriction is never happening a previous Bugatti spokesperson stated it invalidates warranty plus the production version does not have laser guided suspension- a reputed "essential" safety item.

Unless they break all their promises. Mate has a different directive. I hear.

Interesting.

"all we can say is... the next one is going down in the history books."

Damn right, I wouldn't expect anything less, but obviously they're privy to technical specifications or something else to state so.

We know previous German and Dubai reveals and the United States of America is currently Bugatti's biggest market so I was wondering when US actual sightings would occur. Now we know.
