Has anyone notice those suspension arms, they appear to be intricate 3D printed parts, following the technical trend of creating structural and mechanical components in similar principle of natural organic skeletons.

What's really surprising is how complex they are. Even Czinger, who take pride on using that technology on every possible part (just to show off), have very simplistic wishbones on 21C.

Yeah, I don't know, hopefully we will get a lot of technical info tomorrow! Not just on the suspension, but on the whole car.

The thing is, 3D printing isn't even particularly good if you are going just for a simple part like a wishbone. Forged and machine parts will be superior in that case. Where 3D printing really shines is with complicated parts that have a lot of internal structure, or that can benefit from being hollow. The Bugatti control arms are complicated, but I am not sure they need to be.

The car is Mate's Ferdinand Pierch moment, His gordon Murray moment that will cement him in automotive history. From what he has said, the car was never meant to be made and is therefore his from the ground up. I'm sure that he will douce us in lore, facts and figures.

Speaking of which, I wonder if we'll see the 3D-printed titanium brake calipers they presented some years ago.

Monsieur that sound is symphonic, angelic!🙂
You think so?

I don't. There's hardly a change in pitch (see Huayra R for frame of reference) with a rather monotone engine note throughout the range.
I'm not saying it doesn't sound good - it does but in an ugly way - rather it sounds savage and hard-edged. Not angelic or symphonic by any stretch.

V16 and V12 (Race spec for the Huayra R) is really not the same and the Bugatti is a Road car.

Plus, the V16 is really more special (And Rare) that any hypercar is the market.

In any case, both are amazing.
