Neither am I. Why they couldn't have used a shut line similar to the X1 is beyond me. It visually detracts from the rest of the design line from the lights down to the kidneys. Also, on the M-Sport, the lower have is very busy and fussy. I don't get the 'fang' look of the openings. Are the lower front openings for some form of air curtain? The designers could have done better.
I understand there will be a drive towards a more simple, elegant design language in BMW's future. I hope that is the case. The X2 has lost a lot of the good qualities of the concept.
