I still can't believe they nobody got a time on the Ring yet!! :t-banghea

Yeah, you think they would have put a time out by now... especially w/ BMW raving about every time they get w/ each of their cars. Something tells me automotive politics is behind this.

Sweet pictures. With all th ose different colours the cars look like toys. :D

RS4 has been tested by Sportauto but the result isnt officiell yet, same goes for BMW M6.

Frank Stippler, the Audi DTM driver drove the new RS4 in 7.58 min with R-tires.
Horst von Saurma the driver from sportauto thinks its not impossible time around Nordschleife in 7.58 min with R-tires, unfortuanly the car wont be tested before spring :(

What exactly is an official time?

Sportauto times is used as a officiell times. Then there is factory times. Sportauto and factory times are two different officials.

the time 7.58 min isnt a factory time. The info comes from a swedish guy called Eric and visited the ring 3 days ago and met a Rs4 for driver, a guy that compete with Audi in DTM. The time dont come from Audi themselves.

I anyone finds lap times for the RS4 without racing tires please post them here.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
