The RS4 is evidence that Audi has rediscovered the key to making driving fun and exciting. It is simply the best car that the company has ever produced, says John Simister

Can an Aston Martin and an Audi occupy the same sentence? It looks like they just have,

A few laps of Pirelli's test track at Vizzola, near Milan, confirmed how agile, how controllable and how hugely adhesive this car is. It is, in fact, the best Audi ever.

OK, in terms of performances Audi and Aston can occupy the same sentence, but with all respect, Audi is far from AM.

Indeed - really is quite a ridiculous assertion, there's obviously much more to cars than performance alone, and I'd hazard a guess that AM's biggest priority isn't performance, rather something like class, exclusivity, quality, appeal - not only performance.

i would take the RS4 over any aston besides this new one.. i hate astons:D

But audi's arent all out performance neither. Both cars are comfortable fast and fairly heavy.

Astons are more really beautiful cruisers though. Its not a car you would look at and think MMMMM let me take this to a race track.

Aston is a classy brand and expensive.
