loving it...please blow it up im in need of a new walpaper. Its just so elegant and out there

when you think about it, there is something quite kitsch about having a little Art Nouveau sculpture of a near naked woman as your mascot .....I guess it is part of Pop culture ...one of the vast number of symbols we all identify with and understand implicitly as part of our contemporary global culture.

Ah... right, so that's why they made her go up and down. Quite cheeky. :D

That is one sensational image!! Especially how they've made the statue appear to be standing as tall as those trees, symbolising the image and presence of the Phantom... but at the same time, there is a contrast between the darkness of the tree's silhouettes and the brightness of the Spirit of Ecstacy statue, suggesting it is a shining symbol.
Also, how the statue is considerably larger than the car, it suggests that the RR statue (which represents all that RR stands for) comes before the vehicle itself in importance and significance.
Finally, how the chrome strip gradually decreases in size until it disappears into the black of the windshield... if you look at it the opposite way, it's as if the statue has come from the darkness, which could symbolise how Rolls Royce has come back from the dark days when its existence was under threat.

And oh.. here's a bit of a stretched symbolism. Have a look at what the statue is standing on, especially the shape, and now find where the sun is in this picture. It's as if the sun is in the background, shining on the round dome which the statue is standing on ... and that round dome being Earth, thereby symbolising that this is on top of the world, the best there is, and even larger than life.
It's fascinating studying the image portrayed in such 'dramatic' images. :)

Oks... enough of all that analysis.. back to reality.... that's a bloody awesome picture! Gotta Love it! :D

It is quite brilliant. The dominating figure of the Spirit of Ecstacy looks serene against the dark backdrop.

Surely, it's too much a stretch to request this in 1680 x 1050 resolution? :D
