Rossa is a project by Roman Rusinov, a Russian GT and endurance racer. The plan is to make a race car for European (specifically the Fanatec GT2 European Challenge) and Russian GT series, as well as road legal supercar.
It's a collaboration of domestic engineers and designers with foreign expertise and foreign sourced components.
The car is based around a carbon fiber monocoque in a mid engined, RWD configuration.
It's gonna be powered by 800 hp Judd 5.0L V10.
The claimed curb weight is about 900 kg.
0-100 in 3.2s and 380 kph Vmax
The initial racing variant made to compete under GT2 regulations should be unveiled somewhere this year, while the road car is not expected to arrive earlier than 2026.
What's interesting is their ambition to make a GT3 version as well. To comply with the rule set, the road car would have to be homologated with a production volume of 400 cars (that's what they say, internet gives conflicting info about this). And I imagine the engine would need to change for this application.
The GT2 version should cost about €500k or above.
We don't yet know what the car will look like. Bellow are all the available teasers.
I got most of the info from this article.
You can follow the progress on their instagram.
BTW, those beautiful dampers are the same Multimatic DSSV units that can be found on Ford Mustang GT3 and Ferrari 296 GT3.
