^^ I know exactly what you are saying Luw ....and I would totally agree if it wasn't for one thing: This is a Rolls-Royce. The formal, upright appearance is entirely appropriate for the character of this car; this is not a sporty car after all -- it is essentially a two-door limousine.

I guess it's a little different than and it's only reasonable for RR to stick to their philosophy even when developing a coupe.

Lol. The white one is parked at the same shot a silver SLR convertible, in a picture, posted a week ago.

I wonder if BMW has planned a minor facelift for this luxury beast. It needs a little freshing up.

I think the reason why it doesn't look good is that the bonnit is also white instead of brushed aluminum!

Man, that red one is amazing Lu .......and really really showy. I love it but I would be embarrassed to ride in such an outrageously overstated display of excess.

Does the LV luggage come with it .....or would I have to buy it separately? :D ;)

Nice picture.

I think these two cars are probably the signature cars of the first decade of the 21st century. I guess we could also include the Mini too. The VW Beetle has completely failed to become the "Icon" it was intended to be. The Fiat 500 might make it though ...that must really annoy Smart.

The Lincoln in the background is the vastly superior vehicle.

Hmmmm ......well you've lost your mind Merc1.

I'm not going to flame American cars though ...because I think Cadillac might just be starting to go through a kind of renaissance.

I guess the Escalade is an "Icon" too ...mostly in the US, but I saw on TV David Beckham was driven around in one when he visited Australia a couple of weeks ago.
