For some folks, having their last ride in a vehicle named the Phantom is less than desirable. However for others, particularly of the filthy rich type, this Phantom is a banging way to go.

Introducing the Rolls-Royce Phantom Hearse B12 by Italian custom hearse builder Biemme Special Cars. Reportedly the most expensive and luxurious hearse, fit for a Pope, it costs approximately €500,000 ($662,000) and extends a total of 7 meters (23 feet) in length - three feet longer than the extended wheelbase version. The Phantom B12 features 600 custom fabricated parts and over 200 meters (650 feet) of welds.Ironically, the Phantom hearse maintains its suicide doors.

Reminds me of a US based SUV - Escalade? with a Phantom front end I seen in London that was a full stretch limo. With girls screeching from the windows. A shame the inhabitants were more "The Biggest Loser" than "Top Model (Apply any country)"
 
Do carmakers have any sort of control on what others can do with their cars ?
