If anyone could do it it was the Germans, but considering that Mercedes failed in its attempt, VW did show that it was up to the task with Bentley (and others), but I understand what you say since the Rolls thing is particularly successful in its entiretyI don’t believe that RR would have flourished as much as it has under any other carmaker.
