Spy Pics: new Corniche

Very close to 100 and 101 EX. I'm loving it already :smilieheart:

Re: Spy Pics: new Corniche

Does anyone find those door handles incredibly weird? I mean, the fact that part of the door handle is not actually on the door itself seems a bit stupid to me.

Re: Spy Pics: new Corniche

I like it. It keeps the design 'flowing' from the side, and from a distance you would only see the big chrome handle and not the actual cease of the door.

Re: Spy Pics: new Corniche

101EX concept (just imagine canvas top instead of metal one on the concept) = final production design of new RR Corniche.

Just compare the pics.

Also RR people admited that in Geneva to some journalists.

New Rolls - Royce Corniche will look like exactly like the RR 101EX concept from the Geneva 2006 show - only with folding canvas roof instead of fixed metal one.

Although the LED headlight clusters in the prototype are still camoed with a tape, there will be LED daytime lights + LED blinker = exactly like 101EX.

This is like the 5th post about this car.
...and it still doesn't get any prettier.

Don't get me wrong though, this will be an impressive car ..without doubt. But like the Phantom, it's really a huge barge of a thing ...of course you know I'll still want one :D ...but it's not going to be the best-looking coupe out there ...lets face it.

Owning a Rolls Royce is about being conspicuously brash, and this car (as well as the Phantom) fulfill heavily on this. Everytime I've stood in front of or anywhere around a Phantom I've always thought "my, and people think I'm tall??". the car is huge, and if it was an animal, it would probably be a basking shark.

Shark? I think it would have been a whale.
