The First 7.5 liter SEC in the World
660 HP 7.5 liter V12

M120 V12 is one of the most legendary engines in Mercedes-Benz history—an all-aluminum, naturally aspirated masterpiece that powered icons from the Le Mans-winning CLK GTR to the Pagani Zonda. Originally developed for endurance and motorsport durability, the M120 became synonymous with high-revving smoothness, bulletproof reliability, and unmistakable character. Its racing pedigree and exotic applications cemented its status as one of the great V12s of the modern era. In the SEC Widebody, RENNtech brings the M120 back to life—reengineered to 7.5 liters and 660 horsepower—preserving its soul while elevating its performance to a new peak.

7.5-LITER 660 HP V12

The M120 V12 in the SEC Widebody is the only naturally aspirated version of its kind in active production today. Hand-built by RENNtech, the 7.5L engine delivers 660 HP and 650 LB-FT of torque, retaining the character of the original while surpassing it in output and refinement. It’s a rare mechanical achievement—modernized, reliable, and built entirely in-house to deliver uncompromised performance with timeless soul.

LIMITED SERIES

Limited to just 12 vehicles worldwide, the SEC V12 Widebody is a modern coachbuilt performance car – engineered from the ground up by RENNtech. Every example features a unified chassis, drivetrain, and aerodynamic package, while the interior is tailored to each owner. Built with a singular focus on performance, precision, and individuality, it represents a rare fusion of engineering and craftsmanship.

DESIGN

The C126 Widebody is a reengineered evolution of the classic SEC, designed by RENNtech to enhance aerodynamics, cooling, and high-speed stability. Built during a full frame-up restoration, its widened stance and integrated ducting are functional by design—not cosmetic. Custom-forged wheels and flared arches complete a look that’s both purposeful and unmistakably original.

Pretty sick, I must say. Nostalgia is a weird thing.

The side profile is sweet.

Go for it Rentech. Singer sell restomods for $2m. There are plenty of deep pocketed baby boomers who are happy to buy nostalgia/memory for happy butterfly feelings in their tummy.

The baby boomers are dying off, the oldest are early 80's. It's their kids who are buying these cars with their inheritances.
