Laguna Renault Laguna Estate voted 'Most Beautiful Car of the Year'


The Renault Laguna is a large family car that was manufactured and marketed by Renault for 21 years in three body styles: hatchback, coupé, and estate. The first generation Laguna was launched in 1994, the second generation was introduced in 2000, and the third generation was built from October 2007 until 2015.

The recent 23rd annual International Automotive Festival of Paris has named the new Renault Laguna Estate as the 2007 'Most Beautiful Car of the Year' along with the 'Most Beautiful Interior of the Year'.

Every year, the International Automotive Festival of Paris offers a chance to discover and reward the creative talent that is to be found in the world of the automobile.

Of the 11 Grand Prix awards presented in the course of the festival the prize for 2007's 'Most Beautiful Car of the Year' went to Renault's Laguna Estate which was chosen from a shortlist of a particularly high standard by the voting public from across Europe.

The jury also announced the winner of 2007's 'Most Beautiful Interior of the Year' award which went to Renault Laguna in recognition of its interior styling, perceived quality and harmonious volumes, materials and colours. 492

It's very clear that Renault bribed the judges, because, there are far better looking cars than a midsize, boring, mass-produced, unreliable French estate car.
 
The CS concept was voted most beautiful concept car as well, regarding the laguna, the break is clearly well designed but voting it as the most beautiful car of the world is just wrong.
