They usually upload material to the mediapool up to 2 weeks earlier before PR is released ...

:t-hands:

I don't understand why we haven't seen anything yet, when they've already uploaded all these photos.....we usually have around the same time they are posted on the mediapool....

....anyone with a mediapool password: feel free to post the pics here :D

Wasn't it Autoweek.nl that has breached the embargo many times before? I better keep an eye on that site. :D

So that means all the people in media and access to mediapool should have seen the pics and still no leaks?

Here's a real life observation that defies explanation: Making petty conversation whether its foundations are true or false.

Why? I went to the largest Northeast BMW dealer in the US earlier this week, and the manager was telling me that while the US launch for the X6 won't be until next year (which we know), he said the UK launch was next month, and they would be available for purchasing.

My response? Nothing, just a polite nod. If it weren't for this forum, I would have been all overly excited-for nothing. I guess he was just trying to make conversation, since the only thing I wanted to get were the free Cirque du Soleil tix that were accompanying every scheduled test drive by invitation, and I hadn't done the drive. He was being nice for me.

To anyone in the UK, let me know how the purchasing them shells go ;)!

Audi did it, where the heck is the X6, lazy bastards over there. Steal the thunder for crying out loud.

I think that i am gonna be seriously impressed by this car.

I think am gonna be seriously broke by this car. I dunno if this happens to anyone, whenever I see the X5, I tend to imagine it with the coupish roofline of the X6 until it arrives and start day dreaming.

Lol! You too? From the video, (and if I'm wrong somebody let me know), but you can tell what engine it might be from the kidney grille, right? The video looks like the 6 cylinder engine. I've noticed that the black grille is the 6 and the silver grille is the 8....

And I wonder if the press release will mention ANYTHING about an M version, so that if there is none, I can just look forward to the V8 version.

(Sigh!) I can't believe a car is making me feel this way, like all lovesick...damn you BMW--

Okay, lol. Just making sure I wasn't dreaming. Thank you for the reassurance EMPower, you know how it is when you start going slightly crazy over something, reality begins to blur along its fine line. Do you know when they might plan on launching it, will it be a long while after the X6 debuts (like in 2009)?

Yeah, they do that all the time. Those people don't care :D When they have something, they post it.
