It's not good to break a norm,
It's just easier to perform,
A prophet's duty is to inform,
3er Coupe is coming with a desert storm.

...

Now what is that! :D I dont like you being all that secret :D

The heat is built,
My lips are sealed,
Rising a shield,
The car is soon to be revealed.

Hoping for first leaks,
From some babblilng beaks,
We will reach the peaks,
In about two weeks.

All I can say,
I have to obey,
Until comes the day,
From a prophet's say.

:D

here are some new (?) pics, posted on GCF:

and a PS:

comment. At the PS, don't the front lights and the lines on the roof, look a bit odd?

I like the rims on the last pic. I think This car looks more like a Coupe than E46 did.

That's it.

Side profile is totally exposed. Only orange camo tape on side mirrors is there.

The rear lights are not shown completely, but the real ones look VERY similar to one this PS:

PS is wrong. Front is more 5er-ish - hood panel curved to kidney grill and look like it hangs over the front bumper - not like by 3er where it is cut in the bumper.

Also headlight's outer edge (on wheel arc) are not as curved as shown in PS. Neither the other headlight lines are so curvy and sloping, but more streight and edgy - remember Z3 headlight but not so angular. Rear lights are more wraparound - like on that white PS from few days ago.

Btw, the "odd" roof line on PS pic is due to folding metal top - it's a cabrio, not a coupe like the car on other pics.

i can say that... ...it's gonna be GREAT!!!

btw, Tine, you say that the rear lights are going to look like those on the 7er?

Similar.

Look at the rear light of the red car above. They are very much like how the E92 clusters will look like, with slight differences in details.

The graphics will be different: Top strip of the cluster will be a breaking light, followed by red reflectors with inserted white reverse light, bellow will be positioned the position lights, and at the bottom white side indicators arounded with red reflectors will be positioned.

The part on the boot lid is slightly different from the one of the red car (curves and angles are a bit different; it also seemed a bit smaller / sleeker to me). That part surely features red reflectors, fog lights, and I guess a part of position lights.

That's what I've seen on those pics my friend P. - the journalist - showed me.
Rear position lights seamed to be CELIS LED (aka "neon" tubes), breaking light seemed like normal bulbs not LEDs. But I'm not 100% sure. As I said pics were very blury.

The hood and front quarter panels in the latest spy pics of the coupe remind me of the sedans. Nice to see the maintained some similarities between the two sibblings. Now, time for P.R. pics...

When you see the press pics you'll see the front looks much more like 5er (with Z3-ish headlights) than 3er. The best part showing family resamblance between 3er Sedan & Coupe is the side profile.

Thats kinda worrying, the eyebrows on the E60 5er are more than enough and I'm just now really beginning to like them. From what these new pics tell, it looks more close to the core 3er sedan, IMO.

There are no 5er-ish eyebrowes on 3er Coupe. :usa7uh:

But full frontal shot reminded me more of 5er than 3er. Grill, bumper, hood looked more like 5er. But the headlights looked like those of Z3 but a bit more curvy, and with cut inner edge (just like PS pic shows).

I have no idea how this is going to work out, this is so stressful. I think the 7er rear lights work because they are on a large sedan. I have no clue what's going to happen when they put it on a smaller coupe. Geez, they weren't joking when they said that the Coupe will look a lot different compared to the sedan.

What are you talking about bro? There are no 7er headlights on the new 3er coupe. Its kinda hard to make all these conjectures w/ out having seen any actual photos yet, so relax and enjoy the peep show until thae day comes.... sometime soon? Regardless, you gotta have faith in the Bangle design team to deliver here, they know a lot is riding on the coupe in addition to the sedan :usa7uh: Afterall, this new coupe will form the basis of the new M3, BMW's halo car. The coupe plays in intergral role in the definition of the BMW brand, as all 3 series have.

hahaha woops, sorry man. I'm watching Virginia Tech (my school) vs Louisville bowl game so I'm a bit shaky right now, it's a close game. I meant tailights. Those big strips work well on the 7er, but we'll have to see about the 3er. So far I think the PS looks like it's pretty accurate.

Is this photo posted before? If so, my apologies for the repost. :)
