Hey guys,

Just wanted to ask everyone how they feel about the interiors of the entry-level supercars currently on sale

For me, its between the Ferrari 488 GTB and the Porsche 911 Turbo S.
The Porsche interior while nice, practical and handsome is not exotic in my opinion.
That being said it has a level of user-friendliness the others do not seem to possess on a daily basis. I believe it would make a great sports car for the busy weekday commute.

This is about "supercars", I`ll go for the Ferrari 488 GTB.
It is exotic yet seems to have a level of user-friendliness and refinement the others do not quit have imo.

Take a look at the switch-gear in the 488 GTB compared to the others for example.
(Porsche not included) The others seem kind of open, raw and unrefined like thay are trying too hard to look exotic. Design examples of just getting in the exotic game or not there yet. Ferrari has been there and done that. No need to shout or make statements here.

The Lamborghini for me, the interior as the style of Lamborghini but the quality of an Audi. The 488 interior switch gear is starting to look dated, the Porsche is too understated, the Audi is ruined by those horrible vertical air vents, and those cyclops air vents ruined it for Mclaren.

650S... only if they could fix the cheap silver painted plastic buttons.
.
.
Lambo.... with the even more cheap silver painted plastic.

See the pattern... I abhor cheap silver painted plastic crap. I don't mind plastic, I actually like good quality black plastic in a sports cars. But I hate it when they try to pass it off as metal with cheap coat of silver paint over it.

For me, the ranking is as follows:
1) Audi R8 - The vents are criticized which I understand, but the rest of the design is clean, minimalist and cutting edge...
2) Porsche 911 turbo S - A close second,though perhaps a bit too understated
3)Ferrari 488 GTB - Love the location of everything there, and I love the exterior attempt to make a link between the 458 and the 308 GTB, but the swtichgear is getting dated indeed...Expected more change in the interior than this, like they did with the California
4) Lambo Huracan - Waaaay too shouty and over the top,but then again, isn't that why people buy Lambo's?Just like the brand,I respect the interior but it just doesn't cut it for my personal taste
5) McLaren 650S - Not a single change on the interior since the first unveiling of the MP4-12C in 2009...Not to mention those cyclop vents...Bizzare and dated, not for me

I find the R8's interior most appealing, despite the ugly AC vents. 911 looks a bit boring to my eye, while the rest, especially the McL look all cheap and a bit tacky to my eye.

Turbo S luxury
F 488 mix between agressive and luxury, driver focused
Hurracan agressive²
R8 nice, driver focused just like 488
650s good looking, but I think that it is not on the same level as cars above - I mean on materials and craftmanship

My choice - 488 and 911, difficult decision.

So basically i love the 650s's interior, despiting it doesnt look expensive, im pretty convinced it is! Now the 911 seem to have the best build quality and materials, tho it looks like every other 911 interior, so its simply not as exotic and exclusive... The 488 is just very nice, tho it looks a lot like a softened 458 interior... So yeah, not thaaat new for me... The r8 now... I dont really like it, looks too futuristic to me, tho when compared to the huracan's it takes the win for quality! Althought i love the interior of the huracan, i just cant cope the idea of paying $250k for a car with dashboard parts made of plastic! (Tho that exterior and overrall design is gorgeous) I once said i found a video that shows this and i owned u guys the link, so here it is!

2) Lambo
3) 488
4) R8
5) 650

In tts guise, you get a lot of leather bits and interior features that are optional and so usually missing from most 911s. It's nice in there and very functional. It's only knock is its "bones" are shared by less expensive versions which isn't much of a negative.

The lambo has the excellent Audi infotainment electronics plus the exotic character of the the ferrari so I have it as a close second. The r8 version of the lambo interior is just too bland so I slot the 488 above it.
