Can't lie, I actually did a double-take at this...

... Google Streetview-six-wheelers are common, but I've never seen it make such a convincing job of a Maybach-Hatchbach before.

edit: Also on Belgrave Squeare...

I was told that people in Paris don’t use the hand brake in the parking spots, so that the car can be pushed a little bit.

Does anybody knows If that’s still the case.

I'm about to do a very stupid thing. I'm about to buy a 2005 E53 X5 3.0d M Sport, in Kalahari Beige (ext) and Truffle Brown (int) colours. One owner from new, probably needs an engine. The chassis has a bit over 450.000 km.

The most important thing is that the wife didn't say flat no.

Okay, so what's the very stupid thing?

Okay, so what's the very stupid thing?
1. Because I have too many cars and I'm not willing to let go anyone of them.
2. Because the bloody thing probably needs an new engine
3. Because it's heavily taxed.
4. Because it can't drive it into Athens due to pollution regulations. This means I won't be able to use it for my most frequent work or personal trip (usually twice a month).
5. Because the wife didn't say yes, either.
6. Because the plan was to add a new car to the family in 2026, (either brand new, or slightly used so that I can classify it as company expense), probably a Countryman or an X3, to serve as the main family car. This means no new car for us.

So if you're an ordinary person carrying a plank that sticks out a bit, or an otherwise slightly unsafe load the police will pull you, but if you're a farmer carrying a trailer load of horse manure stacked 4ft above the top of the trailer sprinkling it over pedestrians and cyclists, that's a-okay?

I don't know, but it sounds like you've had one hell of a day.
