R.I.P commander Bond. Sir Roger Moore 1927-2017

I hope you have a car.
It's his reaction when he sees it for the first time.

Outrunning a pair of E28's in an Alfa... that should have raised his eyebrow even further... :D

'The Saint' has departed. We could say he taught generations of men to become gentlemen with his sauvé aura on and off the camera.

'Live and Let Die', 'The Spy who Loved Me', and 'Octopussy' were among my very favorite movies of my youth and remain so today. I've must've watched each at least 100 times.

The Persuaders was also an enjoyable watch. Light-hearted hippie era entertainment and foreshadowed his casting as Bond

The car chase scene from The Spy Who Loved Me will forever be remembered by me. I was kid who instantly fell in love with that scene and white Lotus Esprit! The fact that it transformed into a submarine just blew me away!

Because Roger Moore was the James Bond during my childhood and youth, I will always remember him as the Bond I knew the best! The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only are my favourite Roger Moore Bond films.

My favourite scenes of him as Bond is where he slaps Maud Adams in The Man with the Golden Gun, dropping off Sandor in The Spy Who Loved Me and when he kicks Locque's Mercedes off the cliff in For Your Eyes Only. These I think were the most ruthless moments of him as Bond.
