Ecuador beat Qatar.
First time that the organizer lost in the debut in the 92-year history of the world cups.
 
At the moment this World Cup is looking like its closer than ever. No real standout team after 2 games. Spain is having a close game with Germany. France and Brazil are looking good.
 
That's what you get when you put a WC in the middle of the year.Most teams look tired

I'm a big football fan watching religiously but I just can't deal with FIFA any longer after Qatar. It is the most corrupt organization in history. Most of my friends are doing the same.

There was alot of underhand dealings and corruption involved for this Qatar WC. Terrible how FIFA is.
 
I find the games very boring besides two or three not sure of its the heat or something. Just not as exciting as generally

This time of year the weather is mild in the Middle East, the temperature ranges from 20degC to 28degC max at day so there is no heat is making them tired lol. The teams this year seem all quite good, I haven't seen a dud team except perhaps for the hosts and maybe Costa Rica.
 
Well, Germany is out, Japan wins its group, beating Germany on the way. Saudi Arabia beats Argentina. Belgium also out. Cameroon beats Brazil, but is still out.

England plays Senegal, France plays Poland, winners play each other in QF.

I got Brazil in the sweepstake at work, so Go Brazil! Beyond that, I don't care. As somebody that's not a football fan and lives in the UK, doing the World Cup in winter is moronic - no summertime beer garden, no bueno.
 
Yeah, but playing in Qatar in summer would be like running a 2-hour marathon in a sauna.
