Ooo contentious as ever IE... I'm going to stay out of this one besides to say that I urge you to check out EVO magazine a few issues back and note by how much the Gallardo is quicker over the M5 around Bedford. And the 'Ring and Hockenheim and so on.
 
A good driver behind a M5 can beat a F430 around a track. However, if a proffesional driver drive both cars the proffesional will be faster in the F430 cause the Ferrari has better handling. Also the M5 is a big heavy fat pig compared to F430. You can compare M5 to E55, RS6 and so on but comparing it with a sportcar is pretty useless.

Making a fast laptime depend on following factors:

Laptimes mainly depend on four things:
1. the engine and the way it delivers power.
2. how late you can brake.
3. the handling and the cornering grip
4. the driver
The handling in turn depends on five things:
1. the static weight distribution.
2. the height of the centre of gravity.
3. the way the power is distributed to the wheels.
4. the way the suspension behaves.
5. Actual cornering grip also depends on the tyres.


The F430 is better than the M5 on this following "rules".

Im a BMW fan but I'm not blind :D M5 is a great car and handles better than E55 and RS6 but comparing it to a proper sportcar, thats....just....well...pointless. :eusa_doh:

If someone is good at math here.. they might be able to work out..how long autobahn you need if you start from zero and go to top speed before the M5 can catch a F430.. cause if im not wrong.. the F430 is faster at any given moment than this M5 besides speed

ohh and throw in Brabus cars.. they are the most vicous autobahn blasters:D
 
The car is already fast so it feels abit pintless to tune if your not even going to take it on a track.

M5 will always be better in every mf way than any Italian crap out there, as far as Tycoon is concerned. :tongue:

With that i 100% agree with you... The car can be ugly for me, but everything else about it is out of this world, starting 1st with it's sound.... :icondrool :bowdown: To drive Zonda? Helly yeah! I want that!
