I drive that 550i now and i've also driven M5 for several times and mind you, my car is nowhere close to M5... Not even for a second...

I think he means F10 550i.
The 335i competes strongly with the E46 M3, and he believes the F10 550i may give the E60 a strong challenge due to the nature of the torque delivery.

I know he's been speaking about F10 and despite torque delivery, i think current M5 will still be too much for it, and i don't care how fast F10 will accelerate, there's much more in E60 M5.

That was what I was saying

F10 550i M pack vs E60 M5 = E92 335i vs E46 M3. They will be equally fast, the 550i much more comfortable and the E60 M5 completely OBSOLETE.

You should have said 'there's much more in F10 compared to E60'
Just like the E39 is basicly a crap car compared to the E60. M5 in E39 form is less good than 550i in E60 form.

Oh come on. 6 generation of BMW 5er now, and it has ALWAYS been like that. When there's a new version of the 5er, the previous version suddenly feels old. E60 will feel like a relic compared to F10, and while it's obviously true I haven't experienced the new 5er yet, I'm absolutely certain that this is true once again.

Now, can we go back tu SUV/SAVs, please?

Agreed. And the video that was posted 1 or 2 pages before where X6 climbs much easily than RR confirms that.

I agree, to some the X6 has a lot to hate! However, there much more about it to love & one of those things is the ///M badge!

I love the idea of the whole vehicle & the new ///M motor is something for me to drop my jaws! I absolutely love the X6-M..!!
