911 (997) Porsche 997 Turbo Picture Thread

The Porsche 997 is the sixth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car. Predecessor: Porsche 911 (996). Successor: Porsche 911 (991). Production: 2004–2013.
That's right, Bruce. The greyish colour looks very sophisticated on the Turbo. :usa7uh:

Yeah, I agree Mikael. It'd be a serious colour consideration if I was going to get a Turbo (which is very unlikely ).

It would be on my choice list as well. Dreaming hurts nobody, right? ;)

It is the second car I've seen in that colour recently ......I quite like it.

The other one was a Bentley Arnage

I can see this bronze/copper colour is making a quiet return. The M6 has a similar color and the MB CLS as well. IMO it works on the Porsche, it reminds me of the old 930 Turbo

That color for a Porsche? No, thanks! Yes for Bentley or mid sizes sedans like E class, 5er, A6 or such, but not for a Porsche, imo...

:t-cheers:

To each his own, my friend...:usa7uh:

To me, colors like this suit more to some luxury sedans and not to true sport cars like M6, 997 Turbo or such...

Yeah, I can understand that. I do think it gives the 911 a more luxurious appearance.

For anyone wondering, the colour's official name is "Macadamia Metallic".

"Macadamia Metallic"?

Thingamajig-thingamabob...:D Is that the expression you canucks use?:D I remember my teacher from university was from Canada and he told me that...

:t-cheers:

More "Macadamia Metallic"...
