It doesn’t help that these limited edition 911s are unobtanium unless you have purchased 10 cars from your local dealer or can afford to pay £250-400k for a used one.Call me jaded. There was a time I would look forward to reviews of the wares from the GT division and watch every one of them, even multiple times. Now I can hardly get through one without snoozing. The reviews are the same - "Oh, this is the best driver's car ever, blah blah, more feel, more subtle". 2 months later, same guy - "oh this new one is the best ever! And other one (I just called best ever 2 months ago), has all these flaws". GTFO.

It would still be intrinsically shit. So the big issue would remain that Porsche have no direct competitors.I wish Aston Martin would do a legitimate GT3 version of their Vantage.
I don't know about "intrinsically shit". AM has a lot of endurance racing experience with that car plus an actual F1 team. They have all the technical resources to make something more than competitive. It would still be intrinsically shit. So the big issue would remain that Porsche have no direct competitors.
Yea, I kinda get the cynicism with Porsche milking the 992 with a new iteration every other fortnight.
I have no problem with them milking it - it is a business for profit afterall, not a charity. What I can't understand is them not making enough of any of them, where most can't get one without paying crazy markup.Yea, I kinda get the cynicism with Porsche milking the 992 with a new iteration every other fortnight.
That said, if they make cars like this, the the GT3, the RS, the Touring, GT4s, the Dakar, etc., well, Porsche and their GT division can milk to our collective hearts’ content.
