Yeah that Porsche has amazing traction off the line and accelertion despite been RWD and having much lower power than the Nissan although it does have at least a 300kg weight advantage which also does help.

But the weight of the RWD car is rear biased- ie the engine located at the back adding a massive traction advantage to this particular RWD car.

That porsche also have the advantage of lower drive-train parasitic losses than the Nissan.

Yes, you're right and also Porsche has lower center of gravity due to it's Flat-6 engine.

But i think apart from all of these, the traction of Turbo low-end Torque + AWD should overcome all of the Porsche's advantages.

Nissan has much more torque derived @ much lower rev and it's AWD configuration helps it to eliminate wheelspin to great extent.

GTR should be compared to Turbo (S), imho

Kind of apples to oranges really this, when you consider Porsche has that many versions of the 911 to choose from.
