Polo Polo coming to US?

Rumors are spreading that the VW Polo might see a US launch.

As of yet no time frame is confirmed but we are estimating the car to show up on our roads around 2010. The Volkswagen Polo is a compact car that will compete with the Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris and the Smart in the US.

So far we can predict that at its initial launch in the United States, Volkswagen will debut the Polo with a regular gasoline engine. Volkswagen later may also unveil a Polo BLUETEC variant, a version of the Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion, which is said to be cleaner than the Toyota Prius.

Nope, they don't. The smallest car they get is the Rabbit (Golf). I love this news anyway, I'm a strong supporter of introducing the Polo to the US...
