Vs Poll: Audi TTS Vs MB SLK350 facelift

Hope we haven't done this one but with the two 'new' models set to go head to head i thot this might be a good comparo. Also think both manufacturers have done an outstanding job. Soz but didn't put the Z4 (don't be mad bm fans) cos i frankly believe its day is done

No offense but will be replaced soon enuf and these are 'new'

The Z4 still looks just as fresh as the new TT and SLK! IMO

But yes I can understand were you come from. Would have ben good to include the Z4 aswell.

SLK350 w/AMG pack for me. Mercedes always makes the facelifts the best time to purchase a particular model series.

Have to agree with Mer1! I also don't like the styling of the Audi. It's a little bit to femine for my liking. I don't know what it is but I've always considered the car to "chick" for my liking. I much prefer the exterior and interior of the SLK. It's also the better ride from a comfort and sporting point of view, so I am led to believe, so it offers the best of both worlds.

The TT's interior is gorgeous, but overall I'd go for the SLK.

Soz but just checked the results so far and slk is currently 7-1 up! That comes as somewhat of a shock to me. Now let me confess, I think the TT IS beautiful esp interior (so is slk btw) but i voted wif my biased heart. 350 it is for me. Think the slk has better numbers as well though, but don't hold me down to that at the mo.

That pic of the Audi TTS interior looks incredible! AUdi do make some of the best interiors. I think I now prefer the Audi interior over the Merc. I still would choose the Merc however!

Lol, i never thot i'd hear the day when the slk would be considered 'more masculine' than a rival. Seriously tho, you think the ttS is less aggresive/more feminine?

I havent testdriven a SLK but I have driven new Audi TT. I actually prefer the TT design better than SLK. The previous TT looked like a girl car but the new one look more aggressive and stylish. I think TT has more presence than SLK on the road.

The new TT does look fantastic on the road, and the interior is a wonderful place to be. I have never driven one myself but according to all the reviews I have read, this TT is the real deal sports coupe, but I still pick the SLK. I just prefer the traditional longitudinal front engine and rear wheel drive layout over the tranverse engine FWD or 4WD layout.

My personal choice is the TTS. By and large, I prefer most everything about it.

The facelifted SLK with AMG kit looks stunning. Merc1 took a very good picture of it at the Detroit autoshow. Both it and the TTS are just as stunning but in their own ways. But the design of the TTS suits me better.
