Please I need help

Judging by the photo, I believe that you have a pre-facelifted Mercedes-Benz W210 E-class build between 1996-1999. It's either a 6 or 8 cilinder engine.
To reset the maintenance interval, removing the message, try this method below:

Engines: M-111 (4cyl) M112 (V-6) M113 (V-8) 104 (6cyl Twin cam) 119 (V-8) 120 (12 cyl) 606 (Diesel)

1. Turn electronic key in the steering lock position 2

2. Within 4 seconds, press button "O" twice

3. Note! The present status for days or distance is displayed.

Within 10 seconds, turn electronic key in steering lock to position 0

4. Press and hold down "O", while turning electronic key in steering lock to position 2. The present status for days or distances is displayed once more. Keep holding down button"O"

Note! After approx. 12 seconds a signal beep sounds and the display will show 10,000 miles or 15 000 km for other countries

5. Release button "O"

You don't need a computer or anything, you could try it out yourself.
Good luck! :t-cheers:

I'll desribe the steps a bit more detailed:

1. Turn electronic key in the steering lock position 2.
First off I'll describe the 4 positions in which the key can turn in to.
  • Position 0 is the default position. It's the position when you first put your key in, it doesn't do anything.
  • Turn the key into position 1 enables you to use the radio and electric windows etc.
  • Turn the key into position 2 disables the steeringlock and also enables the airconditioning and prepares the engine ready to start etc.
  • Turn the key into position 3 will start the car's engine.

What you have to do here is turn the key into position 2.

2. Within 4 seconds, press button "O" twice
Once you have turned the key into the position 2, you leave that key in that position, meaning you don't remove the key.
Then you have to press the "0" button twice within 4 seconds.
The "0" button is the reset button for your daily milagecounter.
That "0" button is located on the righthandside next to the rev meter and digital clock.

3. Note! The present status for days or distance is displayed.
Within 10 seconds, turn electronic key in steering lock to position 0

If you've done the first 2 steps correctly it will now show you the present status for days or distance.
Now you have to turn the key from position 2 back to position 0 within 10 seconds. You leave the key in contact, don't remove it.

4. Press and hold down "O", while turning electronic key in steering lock to position 2. The present status for days or distances is displayed once more. Keep holding down button"O"

Note! After approx. 12 seconds a signal beep sounds and the display will show 10,000 miles or 15 000 km for other countries

Now you press the reset button, the "0" button on the dashboard next to the revmeter and digital clock. Hold that button down while you turn the key into position 2 again and keep holding the button down even after you've turned the key in that position. And also let the key stay in position 2 as it is. Don't remove it or turn it back.

I repeat, keep holding down the "0" button.
The present status for days or distances will then be displayed.
After approx. 12 seconds there will be a beep sound. And the display will show the 10.000 miles or 15.000 km.

5. Release button "O"
After the beep and the display of 10.000 miles or 15.000 km is shown, release the button "0". It should've resetted the maintenance interval and removed the message.

Hope that will work!
Good luck! :usa7uh:
