Thanks for the photos! It's the exact 2 cars we're considering... Now if only Jag fixed that front headlights.And not to mention those plasticky buttons... On the other hand the 5er looks absolutely premium. Top Class.

Well, the 5-series is a very good ca - with 4-cylinder (520d) and 6-cylinder (525d) diesel engine!! Sadly, we make our XF testdrive not before July - so I can't report, how diesel powered car feels!! But the design of the XF is just so "wow" in my opinion! I really like it and also the interior is awesome. But the rearseats are comparable to the one of the CLS - especially the head room! So, if you want to travel with 4 or 5 people, I think the 5-series would be a better choice - or maybe a used S-Class?

Too bad that XF doesn't look at all like a Jaguar...Jags lost the personality under Ford IMO..

The XF looks great, very sporty and flowing ... except that nose

The 5 still looks good despite the years.
It is a hard decision. haven't made upo my mind. I tent towards the 5 afterall, a much safer bet.
