Edit: the outside is bare steel and a textil material, the inside is felt derived material, leather and wood, which I guess is Macassar ebony.

Very innovative use of materials - especially internally. But I can't help to think the exterior resembles colour combination was inspired by a baboon with red buttocks.

The textile material is actually Shark Skin. Kind of appropriate for the Chinese. Apparently this is the next or replacement for the 508 which I can't remember what the 508 looks like.
