Pagani's first model, the Zonda, is powered by a mid-mounted DOHC V12 engine manufactured by Mercedes-Benz's AMG division. The car's design was inspired by jet fighters and the famous Sauber-Mercedes Silver Arrow Group C cars, and features several unique design elements, including its circular four pipe exhaust system.
Zonda F is my ultimate dream car (well, along F40) That sweet spot between craftsmanship, elegance and aggressivity, that big V12, with a "vocal" range going from bass to tenor.... ahh
I watched that yesterday, it was charming and lovely. That Zonda F is one of my all-time greats. I reckon it has F1 levels of collectibility. It is, simply, a masterpiece. Timeless. Twenty years on? You'd never say it. I also think it's the best car ever to come out of an independent "boutique" manufacturer.
