Do we have any Glas Forum or message boards ?

the german manufacturer went bancrupt in 1967 and was bought up by BMW....

remember Goggomobil, Glas 1700GT or even Glas V8 !

I fondly recall the Glas marque.

Especially the Frua-penned 1300/1700 GT coupes and roadster (rebadged as the BMW 1600 GT), the 1700 sedan (modified version BMW 2000 SA which was built in South Africa until the early 1970s') and the "Glaserati" 2600/3000 V8 GT coupes (rebadged as the BMW 3000 V8 GT).

But even the lesser Glas' were very interesting cars. For example, the little 1004/1304 FWD models with their huge overhangs. Or the Isar, which was introduced as a car for those who wanted to upgrade from their Gogomobils. The Gogomobil is the car that most people associate Glas with, however.

Glas' former Dingolfing production facility in southeastern Bavaria has been transformed into BMWs' current sprawling 5, 6 and 7-series plant.

I'm in love with this Mute car...
Has a great and sporty looking front, a good range, a curb weight of 500kg. battery included, range extenders, good enough range, fast enough, sporty suspension... it's amazing! They even say it won't cost much... now if that's true I can't wait!
