Not too long ago, in a country far, far away, Yema Auto presented a clone of the previous gen. Subaru Forester. The years passed and the force behind Yema Auto became stronger and stronger…
At this week's Chengdu Auto Show 2011, the Chinese automaker unleashed a second attack with a new breed of clones named the E-SUV, T-SUV and the F16
In this case, the pictures speak louder than words and it

doesn't take an avid automobile aficionado to see that the T-SUV is a blatant rip-off of the Vw Tiguan, the E-SUV, China's doppelganger of the Infiniti EX and the F16 and its commercial E-TAXI sibling, copies of the older Audi A4 Avant.
Scroll down to check out the fabulous work of Yema Auto…

China is the republic of copycats. Brand have very little IP protection over there. Given the country's rising statue as a super power and economic force I wonder whether the government will change its stance on the country's uhm...........creative output?

I wish I had authority to ban all those clone-makers forever & put them all in prison for rest of their lives!! :t-banghea

How this can be legal is beyond me. Pathetic and insanely cheesy and classless (a helluva'n understatement).

I too find it annoying that some of the Chinese carmakers are so blatant in their imitation. But I suppose it's part of the learning curve. The Japanese and Korean carmakers went through a similar experience in copying their European and American counterparts' design and styling.

In China they can get away with it but not in Europe. This rings the bell of Samsung who is having a hell of a time getting sued left and right by Apple in Germany, Japan and other countries for going to obscene extents in copying Apple the designs of the iPad and iPhone.

The Koreans and Japanese did not go to this extent with cars as far as I know. But maybe I'm too young?

The Japanese learnt fast, the Koreans learnt faster and the chinese will learn even faster, so putting these abominations aside, in a few years to come they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
