Is the ID range plagued by software issues?I had the opportunity to have a brief look at an ID 4 at my local VW dealership. Without having arranged an appointment hence no test drive. The car, anthracite with an anthracite/saddle interior, was a demonstrator parked outside of the showroom and filthy with road grime. Still, I liked what I could inspect-inside and out. I. however, would certainly wait a year or two before "pulling the trigger" on an ID 4. I reckon that a MY 2023/24 example will be a far better automobile courtesy of over-the-air updates, dealership conducted downloads ,some modified hardware and acquired routine in the assembly process.

Did this poor fellow simply get stuck with one of those occasional "lemons" ?:
Or were the first ID 4s' really...just...shit ? In fact...are they still ?
Einfach nur BESCHÄMEND, Volkswagen.
