Official: The 2012MY Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG with New AMG 5.5-liter V8 Biturbo Engine

Beautiful car indeed. Still, imo, the E63 for some reasons looked better & aggressive. This one looks kind of soft. :eusa_thin

Just a curious question, why its not called E55? Shouldn't the numbers represent the engine displacement/size etc? :t-hands:

Not liking those rims. What's up with MB and bad rims lately? First it was those black ones on the C63 coupe, and now these.

Can't the 557hp and 590 ft lbs of torque be standard instead of an option? As if AMG vehicles need extra performance packaging :/

Very nice. Although, last years E63 looks better IMO, as I'm not big on the new wheels. The "spokey" look doesn't fit a Benz IMO, and the classic 5-Spokes look both more aggressive, sporty, and luxurious. The new ones appear understated and precise, I guess giving the car more of a "track" and lighter on its feet look.

Also, I'm not a fan of the CF trim package, as it's regressive in styling IMO.

Anyway, great ride. I'm sure the new powerplant is gonna be an efficient beast.

0-100km/h is no fun and overated figure. Lets use a more intresting measurement. How much faster is E63 0-160km/h, 0-200km/h, 100-200km/h in fourth gear than S65? E63 should be quicker I think since its a lighter car.
It will be quicker because of the shorter final gear ratio (2,82 vs. 2,65). :usa7uh:
