Basicly it's a re-badged Skoda Rapid. Don't get it... What's the purpose?

Growing markets for small sedans in Russia, Turkey and China. In fact the car has a sedan shape but in fact it is a hatchback.

The car will have plenty of room for rear passengers as the wheelbase is around 150 mm greater than Polo or Ibiza, this is an important selling point in less developed markets.

I have noticed in the Worldcarfans discussion thread that there is a lot of misconception about the origin of this car, people see it as essentially a rebadged Jetta due to its long wheelbase.

However this car has nothing to do with Jetta, Golf or Leon for that matter, notice how narrow the car is. Also inside the car the Polo's single zone eletronic AC unit is visible as well as narrow front armrest which is straight from the Polo.
