911 [Official] Porsche 911 GT2 RS

The Porsche 911 model series (pronounced Nine Eleven or in German: Neunelf) is a family of German two-door, high performance rear-engine sports cars, introduced in September 1964 by Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany.
The only "investment" some have are the modern sportscars they have, so flipping cars may be a necessity. Isn't there a YTer/spotter that lives out of his Gallardo?
I think he call himself the Strandman. I do wonder how much actual income do these YTer/s earn per video or per month. Even with lover a million subscribers only about 1/4 of them watch their videos regularly.

Some come from wealthy families, some live day-to-day on endorsements and subscriber count, others utilize their personality and vanity to lure their followers into buying "merch" or even potentially fraudulent schemes to "get rich [quick]" like they did and live their lifestyle.

This is what many viewers and followers don't understand. As a car vlogger, Youtube isn't enough for generate enough money to afford 4-5 supercars let alone afford to pay for flights and accommodation to press drives and numerous car events. Some live at home for years to make things work financially. In some cases they promote the dealership or financing company they "bought" from/using.

YouTube and Instagram should be treated as reality escpaces or illusions where you see already well off people displaying their wealth in various ways. Just look at some female instagrammers who wear extremely expensive clothes and photograph themselves in different parts of the world every week. Instagram ads and freebies don't cover that on your journey to 1 million followers.

Solomondrin, Shmee and Mr.JWW are examples of very wealthy individuals who had wealth before they started their channels. They don't need a day job and YouTube is a perfect for them to do what they love. At the opposite end you have SeenThroughGlass and SuperCarsofLondon who have a daily driver and a supercars and change them both 2-3 times a year.

I can see it too, the difference between the guys who are wealthy to start off with and those on the opposite ends are staggering. Not only that, these wealthy individuals see their channel grow at a more substantial rate than seethroughglass or SupercarsofLondon, especially SOL, his channel growth has stagnated for a while now. Surprisingly, the Strandman is doing quite well, despite not having a fleet of supercars. I am not sure about Vehicle Virgin though.

Yupp. Money makes money.

Shmee now gets access to events and exclusives that others don't. Mr. JWW is the same. He was given the Vantage for three months and recently got to drive a fresh Aventador from the factory around Italy for a few days.

Strandman is cool because he films other people's interesting cars around the USA. Doug DeMuro is killing it though with his very simple style of filming. Almost every video he makes clocks over 1 million views in days. :D Take that millionaire playboys.

About the influencers: we know plenty from small ones to the big ones (not naming names) and they charge depending on many variables: posts, stories, tags, time, video length, location, etc. but the prices range from 5000 up to 30000 per day if engaged by a sponsor. Then add the YouTube revenues and you’ll see that most of today’s popular influencers are making a good living with their “work”.

P.S. Shmee is one of the few that didn’t come from a lot of money and created his success. I respect him more than most other influencers, dude is a working machine.

He said he lived in his Audi TT for a while. But he was an accountant when he got the Lambo. The day he got laid off video is the first video I watched and I haven't stopped since. Seems like a nice guy and being an accountant, I'm sure he's smart with his money.

Shmee said a while ago that his dad owns a "tech company". He never goes into details about it tho. So I believe he comes from a wealthy family. His CD/DVD shop was just a hobby. "I worked hard and now I have 10 supercars". Yeah right...
I know he was a accountant and hes crazy about every single detail etc... but I think theres alot of info missing.

For example, Matt Farah also comes from a wealthy family. But I like his attitude, he never hid that about him. Hes humble and never shows off like many Youtubers do.

Everytime people ask Shmee/VehicleVirgins/SebDelanney about their family background they try to run away from that subject. Guess why ;)

Does anyone follow SupercarBlondie? She seems to go to exclusive events like Shmee/Mr.JWW do. She travels 24/7. Not sure if she came from a wealth familty too or something else. I guess being a attractive woman also helps :D

I'm happy for Doug DeMuro being successful so far

It's understandable that some want to be private about their wealth as they are "sharing their passion" rather than trying to put across that "you can afford these cars if you make videos on youtube". There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

And trust me, when his beloved Carrera GT(my favourite supercar ever), will start to rise in value in the coming years, no worries mate, he will sell it, as quickly as you can say Porsche Carrera GT...

Another one that should be tagged with "Attention Wh0re"

GT2 RS in PTS color Oak Green Metallic, same color as recently restored Carrera GT by Porsche Classic division...

The Senna is clearly faster but the GT2RS is holding up well.

BTW, Guards red has become my favourite colour on the car. It's rare that like red on anything but a Ferrari.

Guards red is also my favourite. But also Carmine red is fantastic, I have seen it in person. I already posted pictures of this GT2 RS in Carmine red, but here is another photo again, to refresh the memory!:)

I've seen Carmine red once or twice on either a 911 GTS or Cayman GTS. Black alloys complement the subtle cherry hue very well.

Yes it's usually on 911 and Cayman GTS models, but also suits very nice on RS models. Black wheels are a must option for this color combo. And with these red colors the Weissach package really stands out.
