P1 [Official] McLaren P1 Supercar

The McLaren P1 (codenamed P12) is a flagship sports car produced by McLaren Automotive. It is the second installment in McLaren's Ultimate Series after the McLaren F1. Considered to be the spiritual successor to the F1, the P1 was one of the first high performance sports cars to be introduced incorporating hybrid technology; the Porsche 918 Spyder having begun taking orders prior to the P1 and the LaFerrari introduced alongside it.

That blue P1 looks stunning!

^ I was also there, the car looks insane. Last year there was a LaFerrari (or LaFiat as the owner calls it lol) and IMO it looked better... Anyway:

Here you go @Matski, you'll like this. I thought I recognised the village green in the shot of the red P1, so I checked and sure enough I stayed there in 2011. It's Chiddingfold in Surrey. I took a brunette there for the weekend and stayed in the Crown Inn, a really old building that dates back to 1285. It's just out of shot to the right. Fascinating.

The Crown Inn is one of the oldest inns in England. Built as a rest house for Cistercian monks on their pilgrimage from Winchester to the shrine of Thomas Becket in Canterbury, it claims to have been established in 1285 with the earliest recorded reference to the present building dated 1383; probably when the alehouse (the Halle) expanded to include accommodation, thus becoming an inn. Subsequently it merged with the adjoining alehouse through common ownership. The Crown has seen many distinguished visitors down the years. In 1552, Edward VI, the "boy king", attended by high officials of state, courtiers, peers and some 4000 men encamped on the village green. It is reputed that in 1591 his elder sister, Queen Elizabeth I, "sojourned there for refreshment" en route from Loseley Park to Cowdray Park: her expense roll for the journey showing two shillings being paid for a tonne of wine to be transported to the village from Ripley.

Another fun fact is that Genesis have their studio in the village and recorded various albums there.

For that weekend I chose an S 350 BlueTEC (W221).

Great video again! What tyres were you running? Also, do you use the IPAS mode when on track?

Just Corsas, I dont normally take road cars on the track, and i find the TrofeoR's too compromised on the road. would in general prefer to have Michelin Cup2 tyres... I use the DRS button (as you can probably see) on the straights. I find the IPAS function a gimmick at best, except for inexperienced drivers maybe. the IPAS only works when you have the car setup in manual boost. So instead of having 900bhp all the time, you have 750 or so unless you press the IPAS button to get the full 900.. Dont see the point, and it gets complicated pressing DRS and IPAS AND shifting up at the same time.. ;)
