Neither does the 911.At the age of 7 year, the 750s doesn’t look sufficiently new.
That just makes me think that Senna underperformed. There shouldn't be a universe where it's slower than a GT3 RS.If you look at the sportscars ranking with the 992 GT3RS in 1st place, you see that brutal/massiv aero is king. And also interesting that McL keeps the "tiny" 245 front tires! Will be interesting to see, what a McL can/will do with GT3RS like aero and more rubber at the front.
Yes, but if you look sport auto laptimes in Hockenheim. Particularly the laptime of Senna, there is story quite different...That just makes me think that Senna underperformed. There shouldn't be a universe where it's slower than a GT3 RS.
Totally different tracks. HHR is a flat circuit with very fast "straights" (yes, the Parabolica is basically a straight), while Sachsenring is the mini-Nordschleife. Ondulating, bumpy with tight turns. And those turns were the reason while the Senna (with its relatively narrow front tyres) was not as quick as it could be.Gebhardt > Neumann
I agree with your characterization of the track differences. I wouldn't have brought up Hockenheimring into the discussion myself. But when I watch the Sachsenring onboard, he rather looks to be battling with oversteer at times. Of course, it could be a matter of bad suspension setup or tire pressure resulting in underperformance, instead of driver abilities alone.Totally different tracks. Naumann is very quick, as quick as Gebhart with a much, MUCH more relaxed and neutral driving style.
Not to mention that they were teammates at the Nürburgring 24h race a few years back - with Jethro Bovingdon and Jörg Beigmeister as well in the team.
Gebhardt did in sport auto supertest on Corsa tyres 7:08 Nurburgring laptime with 720S.The Corsa’s seem to work very well on this car. Also the 720s was hardly any faster on tyres that was supposed to be quicker tha Corsa.
Considering it's mostly COVID that caused the Senna's supertest and the 765's to be cancelled, it's very likely that we'll see a supertest of this car around either Hockenheim or the Ring. Best case scenario would be a test on both tracks like the 720S.Gebhardt did in sport auto supertest on Corsa tyres 7:08 Nurburgring laptime with 720S.
