The 720S is still an excellent car and it looks fantastic. The styling hasn't aged at all and still looks like a new model. It is probably pound for pound the best supercar for the last 5 years and only now has Ferrari caught up to it with the 296 GTB. The next 750 or 770S is going to be epic.

They Ferrari had a good bash with the SF90 too even if in reality it was in a higher class, production hypercar.

But I'm trusting the Mclaren traditional power quoted is measured at the wheels almost.

Because in the more aerodynamic body it'll be an absolute missile.

Absolutely not true. On McLaren Life the owners of either car talk about this in comparison. Professional level or near 2 of them.

We live in a World where Corvettes are lapping under 1/2 a second slower than the McLaren Senna. And we also know there's myriads of reasons why is this is "true".

There's conditions and driver error to factor in. Some cars aren't as easy to drive fast or be comfortable with. I know a lot of 765LT and 720S owners seem to say the LT is a lot faster.

LT is significantly quicker but feels quicker than it is. Much more violent in power delivery. More personality.

DMS Automotive are unequivocally one England's very finest aftermarket ECU re engineers. Have been for decades. They go very quiet when I ask about the Bugatti Chiron, LOL!

It always will be. It can smash 1/2 a mile in under 16 seconds between 172- 176MPH and those are Holy Trinity levels of performance. The McLaren 750S has very big shoes to fill. I'm sure it'll be fine!
