720S [Official] McLaren 720S

The McLaren 720S is a sports car designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive. It is the second all-new car in the McLaren Super Series, replacing the 650S beginning in May 2017. The 720S is built on a modified carbon monocoque, which is lighter and stiffer than the previous model, the 650S.
Based on his reactions and words, his verdict has made absolutely no sense whatsoever
I suppose he is really excited by driving the car, but something is missing to make him "fall in love" with it. He did say at the start that he isn't a journalist or a pro car reviewer, so I suppose we shouldn't take this video as his final verdict, even he said it himself.

It seems McLaren rushed out press cars for the reviews. Some of them had issues, like e.g doors not properly closing, multiple warning lights on the dash (one serious ocassion where Sutciffle had to stop in his review) and other minor quirks.

When you rush out press cars with issues, one shouldn't expect perfect reviews from everyone. Be it YouTube stars or official press, like the car magazines and news sites it doesn't matter.

Hopefully they won't rush out the production version, unless if they do, they will have another 12C situation. (Which is very unlikely, since they have learned from it.)

I can`t stand these guys anymore... I don`t know what happend, but their car "facts" are way, way off recently. I mean really? A Sesto Elemento is based on a Huracan? Still great to hear that they want to do a P1 vs 720S stand-off.

Since when is a car being "too good" a problem...."I'd like my 300 grand supercar to be a bit more cr@p"; said no one ever
It's hard trying to make sense of any of these youtubers but I think by "too good" some of them are trying to say that the car is still pretty much planted even at insane speeds. I can see why this could be a problem as even half-throttling this car at any gear on public roads... you will be going crazy fast in no time.
That's fine as long as the car becomes playful and requires some kind of driver involvement at that point.
You know... to give you that sensation and challenge of driving close to the limit.
The 720s limits as TG says might indeed be out in the stratosphere.
It faces all the problems a hypercar would face.

Seriously, can we just tone it down with all these youtuber videos? Its mostly cringe/clickbait content anyway. Lets just stick to the journalist/publication reviews.

Point well, taken, even though I was the one to share the last Youtuber video up here...Anyway, opinions are subjective, and let's leave it to the professionals to form a more concrete opinion indeed

This is a good point actually...That said, the same "Youtubers" never really say "oh this doesn't cut the mustard for me because it's too good" about those other hypercars somehow :p
