Depends, I guess.
If the safety features reduced the extent and magnitude of his injuries, it'll viewed as good or no effect on the brand. If it is found something within the car like design flaw or an active safety feature worked improperly, well that's bad. People tend to remember the bad stuff more often.

Hopefully he makes a full recovery.

Most news articles have mentioned that Genesis vehicles usually get good safety ratings, although the GV80 hasn’t been tested yet. Either NHSTA or IIHS (can’t remember) mentioned their safety ratings for the GV80 when will be posted sometime next month. Let’s hope they are stellar.

Now as an avid golfer, it is disappointing that we will have a golfing season without Tigga.

Very Good for the brand. Think about the Volvo crash in China. Sales went up 5% the next quarter. I’m sure Genesis wouldn’t do such a thing on purpose, would they?

Lexus and Infinit better watch out.

I love rooting for an underdog. Although the car is stunning and unique inside and out, it's too expensive. For the same money you could buy a Q7, Hybrid GLC, X5 or even a low mileage Cayenne.

IMO a left field choice should offer value for me. I can envision it selling reasonably well in the US and China but not in the UK. It makes me think of the Kia Stinger. Between 2017 and today, only 2,300 units have been sold in the UK. A gorgeous car but the man maths didn't workout against German rivals.
