Fisker Official Fisker Ocean SUV production version

Fisker Inc. was an American automotive company founded by Danish automotive designer Henrik Fisker and his wife Geeta Gupta-Fisker. Launched in 2016 and based in Manhattan Beach, California, Fisker Inc. was the successor to Fisker Automotive. In early 2024, the company experienced intense financial difficulties, its shares were delisted from the NYSE, and ceased operations.
The speed at which they are falling is overwhelming, "a few days ago" the Ocean was on sale and presented 4 concepts simultaneously but "20 minutes later" this.....
We talked about it at the time, like when Lotus presented 5 concepts simultaneously and then it went to waste, they don't learn, it would be the second for Henry

After a net loss of $463 million in the fourth quarter, electric car maker Fisker is warning that it may not be able to continue as a going concern.

Fisker said it has entered negotiations with a 'large automaker' for a potential investment. It did not name the automaker.
Fisker raises 'substantial doubt; 15% workforce cut planned

The corresponding stock market announcement caused the share price to fall by 37 percent to 74 cents. There are "significant doubts" about the company's ability to continue as a going concern, Fisker writes. The company will need additional financial resources in the next twelve months. To cut costs, Fisker wants to eliminate 15 percent of jobs.

“Fisker is in negotiations with a large auto maker for a potential transaction which could include an investment in Fisker, joint development of one or more electric vehicle platforms and North America manufacturing.”

Bloomberg and Reuters have now reported that the manufacturer in question is Nissan, citing anonymous sources familiar with the matter.

Sounds like pre-liquidation. E.g We have little to no interest in your IP but we'll happily have the US plant to access grants, loans and R&D tax credits.

I see the poor Fisker after these two attempts knocking on BMW's door to see if they don't need him to design a Z9...
Joking aside, I hurt for him, it's difficult to get into manufacturing cars even if you know a lot, but I admire him for trying.

He’s a scammer. Twice over.

I've been watching this guy for some time , and saw his updates regarding his Fisker

Man , what a mess....

This car is absolute dog s**t. Tesla feels like a Rolls Royce in comparison with it.

Besides the so many issues regarding software , this car is build like a garage project.

3D printed part for that vent? What the heck?!

It's not even a good quality print.Looks like it is a cheap FDM printer.

With his latest update , after the 2.0 software update , he has voltage issues, that translates to all system failing in some form , at some time.

Jesus....

Stop the production

Fisker #2, Vinfast, HiPhi are going down unless someone steps in to save them.
Completely
Fisker, if is not absorbed by Nissan it will be dead, the announcement is 6 weeks production stop

Hipi, detained for 6 months

Vinfast, I'm not so sure, I think the Vietnamese government supports it a little and they have sweet money, like France with Renault?, it could last a couple more days.

This thing about automakers stopping "to rest" has never been seen before, Jaguar, are you there?

Fisker #2, Vinfast, HiPhi are going down unless someone steps in to save them.
Why would anybody do that?

It's not like they have some sort of value or brand.

Fisker is the second time they fail. Why would anybody risk a 3rd time?

It's not like they failed because the timing was bad or a crisis came.

It's just bad products. Don't know for sure about HiPhi , but VinFast and Fisker are proven absolute trash cars.

If I remember right , there was a clip from Bjorn with a HiPhi in a showroom , and he did not manage to open the driver door , so he entered from the other way... He tried to make it look like it was no issue (probably paid content ) , but you could have seen it...

Also , Fisker does not have any useful patents , so I just can't think of a good value thing in this company...

HOW can you say that the price is reasonable and the car is very cool and full of gizmos , but never mention that most of them don't really work ?!

They literally have 2 issues just in a brief straight trip ( screen and lane assist that issues a warning where there are no lanes....)

This is why I hate this paid reviewers....

"Incredible car"...wtf man...

This Ocean looks really crap compared to the first cars they produced. The Karma was a beautiful car that could have done well today if electric and would be a stylish alternative for the Taycan.

Best review to date 😂 read the part in bold. No wonder they’re going bankrupt.

Consumer Reports reviews Fisker EV: ‘Nauseating' and ‘inexcusable'
While praising the EV's innovative design, the publication listed a multitude of problems it encountered in just two weeks of ownership.

Fisker Ocean

Things haven't been looking good for Fisker Inc., which has halted production for six weeks and could file for bankruptcy soon.
Having Consumer Reports buy one of its electric vehicles didn't help.

After driving the Fisker Ocean for two weeks, the publication's testers praised the EV for a "truly innovative design," superior cargo space and unique features such as a pull-out taco tray for eating on the go.
But beyond those few bright spots, the review was as harsh as, well, apparently the Ocean itself, which was described as "both nauseating and jarring."

EV startup Fisker idles production, warns it may need to seek bankruptcy

Here is some of what Consumer Reports wrote:

"So far, our experience with the Ocean is like ordering pizza at a new, buzzy restaurant, only to get a pie with undercooked dough and no sauce because the tomatoes are still growing. The tantalizing promise of the final product is right there in front of us, but it's quite unappealing in its current state."
"It's inexcusable that safety and other features promised on the Ocean's window sticker come and go, with their absences only occasionally accompanied by warning messages."

"It feels like the Ocean's software designers got some sadistic pleasure from programming new and different ways to prevent Bluetooth from connecting."

Regenerative braking "is poorly tuned and difficult to modulate, a nauseating experience that called to mind childhood memories of driving with my Aunt Irene in her Buick LeSabre."
"The standard cloth upholstery feels like a cheap polyester suit."
"The touchscreen is slow — like, $99 kids tablet slow — and laggy, and touch sensitivity is all over the place."
Consumer Reports also slammed Fisker for its $2,438 shipping fee, the most it's ever been charged. Yet the $63,981 vehicle turned out to be an excellent value, because Fisker never cashed the publication's check.
