Portofino [2017-2023] [Official] Ferrari Portofino - California T successor

The Ferrari Portofino (Type F164) is a grand touring sports car. It is a two-door 2+2 hard top convertible, with a 3.9 L twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine and a 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) time of 3.5 seconds. The car is named after the village of Portofino on the Italian Riviera and succeeds the company's previous V8 grand tourer, the California T. The car was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2020 Ferrari Roma coupe is based on the Portofino. A convertible version of the Roma was unveiled in 2023 to replace the Portofino.

I love it.

What is so bad about it? Surely it can't be worse than the previous California.

Worst current Ferrari, sorry.
And overall, it looks like a facelifted Cali with the same proportions.

It's funny, Ferrari needs something like a 911 and Porsche needs something like a 488 but none exist...

Same here. Initially I just outright excited to see a successor to the Cali that looks more commanding. Now that I have seen more photos of the rear I can't say I'm in love with it.

Agreed; it just seems like a third California facelift in reality. They didn't fix what was the real problem all along - the roof mechanism and rear packaging.

Hard-top convertibles aren't that cool anymore, they could've made a beautiful 2+2 with a soft top instead.

It's like the current SLC. Its evolution was handicapped by MB retaining the roof of the predecessor.

It hasn't been since the presentation of the 456 GT way back in 1992/93 that a Ferrari has fascinated me in the manner that the Portofino has (and does).

I would have felt a bit embarrassed to drive the California, not because it was an entry level, but because it's design was rather slapped together. This does not; it's much more cohesive. The only complaint I really have is that the interior quality from pictures I've seen thus far has me wanting more. The leather looks rather basic.

The reviews are out and they are overwhelmingly positive. The car also looks great out on the open road.

All other Ferraris look better. On the plus side it will be easier to get hold off than a brand new 488 or Superfast.
