LaFerrari [2013-2018] [Official] Ferrari LaFerrari

LaFerrari, project name F150, is a limited production mid-engine, mild hybrid sports car. LaFerrari means "The Ferrari" in Italian; this is intended to be the definitive Ferrari.
What was up with this one's rear? seems to suffer damage by a fire..

When we see the real car?

Where did you hear this from? As far as I know, the Drive team are on a 2 month break filming new content for the next season. Now that they have a contract with NBC they have to maintain a much steadier flow and quality of content. They just wrapped up filming a BMW segment in Cape Town last week and this week they're filming at the Pagani factory in Italy. I don't think we're going to see anything new from Drive until September.

Just something I heard.

We’ve already seen the first LaFerrari accident, first world LaFerrari crash (first by a customer in Monte Carlo) and now it looks like the hybrid hypercar is going though a rather... fiery phase. The puzzle is not complete, but judging by the two adjacent pieces, a picture and a clip, we are dealing with the first LaFerrari fire, or, to put its shortly, LaFire.

The image above, shows an Italian-registered example of the hybrid hypercar that has its Rosso Corsa attire stained with the signs of a fire that had been extinguished. There's also an Instagram video below, offering us a deeper take on this messy matter.

Moreover, this Prancing Horse has recently attended the Trento-Bondone rally, where, aside from acting like an attention magnet, the Italian hypercar was caught on camera with its rear end smoking - in fact, the pic above was taken just after the hillclimb event.

You can check out the video below, which shows plenty of footage from the Rally and you’ll see the unholy events taking place around the 40 seconds mark.

Compared to what we’ve seen on other occasions labeled under “Ferrari fire” this is nothing, but we don’t have enough details of the incident at the moment. Wonder what the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1 think of this. The Koenigsegg One:1 may also be watching the topic with big eyes, while Pagani's Huayra Nurburgring Edition is probably analizing the situations from under the wide range of prototype vehicle equipment it is currently wearing.

Damnit, all's I want to see is a 20-30 min. video of CH behind the wheel of this car. Is that asking for so much?

^ Very different to the black one from a while ago..

Seems much stiffer under braking..track suspension for sure :)

The problem on LaFerrari (fire) is due to an overheating of the carbon parts just below the exhaust system . The shields protecting the carbon parts of the car are now implemented. No other mechanical issues .

Swedish Tuner Aims to Extract 1050 HP Out of Ferrari LaFerrari via Remap

The Ferrari LaFerrari makes 963 hp when its V12 and electric motor are working together giving all they’ve got. The LaFerrari is a really new car, and the limited numbers it will be available in means few will move past being stock, since it’s not the kind of car you buy with the intent to tune…
However, the Swedes over at JMB-Optimering are having none of that and are currently working on a software map that is said to increase the total output to 1050 hp.

We assume they aren’t necessarily touching the electric part of the powertrain, focusing on boosting the V12 instead, though, since this is a new kind of car, it may require a new approach to tuning.

It’s currently not done, though, and the article on TSK doesn’t say when they plan to have the car’s first outing. We’ll bring you more on this when it comes out.

LaFerrari XX to have 1050 bhp

Could be introduced early next year
Ferrari is putting the finishing touches on the LaFerrari XX and new details are starting to emerge about the high-performance model.

According to Car Magazine, the LaFerrari XX will be a track-only supercar that features an upgraded 6.3-liter V12 engine and an optimized hybrid system. These changes will reportedly enable the car to produce 1050 bhp (782 kW) which is 100 bhp (74 kW) more than the standard model. If these numbers pan out, the LaFerrari XX should be an absolute rocket as the standard model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in less than three seconds and has a top speed in excess of 350 km/h (217 mph).

Unfortunately, getting your hands on a LaFerrari XX will likely be difficult as production will reportedly be limited to 30 units and pricing will likely boarder on the obscene.
